Karen Skeen

Karen Skeen is an experienced Data Analyst currently employed at The Exeter since June 2017, where expertise in managing complex data sets has been developed. Previously, Karen worked at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Trust in roles related to Management Accounts and Financial Accounts from July 2012 to 2014, gaining proficiency in financial systems such as Agresso Unit4 Business World and Oracle, as well as a comprehensive understanding of NHS VAT recovery and compliance. Additionally, participation in the NHS VAT Forum, hosted by Ernst & Young, involved engaging with current VAT and tax issues affecting the NHS and reporting back on discussions with HMRC. Educational background includes studies at Bournville Business College and the University of Oxford, Department for Continuing Education.
