Amilynn Adams

Amilynn Adams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marine transportation and risk assessment. Currently serving as the Deputy Division Chief in the Waterways Risk Assessment and Support Division at the U.S. Coast Guard since February 2020, Adams previously held various significant positions at NOAA, including Senior Advisor and Director of the Commissioned Personnel Center, where strategic initiatives and workforce management were prioritized. A background in military operations was gained through participation in the Military Pathways Executive Development Program at Amazon and various leadership roles across NOAA, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, security, and effective program execution in marine environments. Academically, Adams holds a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography/Biology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
