Philipp Hofmann has a diverse work experience beginning in 2013 with PSI Metals as a Software Developer - Working Student. In 2015, they completed a Summer Internship with Lufthansa Technik and airberlin. In 2017, they completed a Pre-Study Internship at the Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT. In 2019, they took on the role of Tour Guide at RWTH Aachen University. In 2020, they became a Research Assistant at the Institut für Textiltechnik der RWTH Aachen University, as well as a Test Engineer at Space Team Aachen e.V. and Team Lead Mechanical Construction at AMPEX 20 - IGLUNA Project. In 2022, they became a Propulsion Engineer at The Exploration Company and a Test Engineer at Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA.
Philipp Hofmann is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Aerospace from the Technical University of Munich. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University between 2017 and 2022.
