Sonia Magniant

Sonia Magniant has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Sonia started their career at Snecma as a Turbopump Design Engineer from March 2006 to February 2008. Sonia then joined Airbus Defence and Space as a Liquid Propulsion Engineer in March 2008 and continued in this role until July 2016. Following this, they worked at ArianeGroup as a Liquid Propulsion Engineer from July 2016 to July 2018, and then transitioned to the role of Launcher system engineer from July 2018 to May 2022. Currently, they are working at The Exploration Company as the Lead Demonstration & Prototypes and Deputy Lead Propulsion System.

Sonia Magniant earned their Engineer's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from EPF Engineering School between 2002 and 2005. Sonia then pursued a Mastère degree with a specialization in Mechanics and Launcher at ISAE-SUPAERO from 2005 to 2006.
