Munir al-Dzhidi

Munir Al-Dzhidi has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Munir is currently working at AerCap as the VP Technical EMEA, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President Engine Marketing at AerCap from January 2022 to October 2022. Before joining AerCap, Munir worked at GECAS for several years, where they held various roles. Munir was Vice President Technical from August 2015 to January 2022, responsible for engine leasing and technical management. Munir also worked as an Engine Leasing Commercial Short Term Assignment and held a role in Engine Technical Management Short Term Assignment during their time at GECAS. Munir started their career at Emirates, where they worked as a Maintenance Planning Officer from December 2008 to September 2010 and as a Production Planning Supervisor from May 2007 to December 2008. Munir also has experience working at Swiss Aviation Consulting, where they served as the Manager of Middle East Operations from April 2012 to March 2013, involved in establishing the Middle East office and handling various tasks related to Continuous Airworthiness Management (CAMO) and Aviation Advisory.

Munir Al-Dzhidi completed their education at Kingston University, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Business Management in 2011. Prior to that, they had also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Aircraft Engineering at the same university from 2005 to 2006.
