Sam Haynor is a Senior Exhibit Developer and Project Director at the Exploratorium, where they design and fabricate educational exhibits and experiences for museums worldwide, focusing on accessibility and life sciences learning tools. Prior to this role, Sam served as a STEM Curriculum Specialist for the Oakland Unified School District, where they developed STEAM modules for numerous programs, and was a Teacher in Residence at Autodesk, creating widely viewed online projects for educators. They also founded Something Labs, which produced over 500,000 pieces of personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Educational Psychology from Dartmouth College and a Master of Education in International Education and Pedagogy from Harvard University.
