Prabakar Sundarrajan

Founder, Chief Strategist at The Fabric

Prabakar Sundarrajan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Prabakar began working at BiiN, Intel in 1983 as a Senior Architect and stayed until 1989. In 1993, they joined Transarc as a Product Manager and Architect, and worked there until 1995. Sundarrajan then joined Exodus Communications in 1995 as SVP Technology, R&D, and later became the SVP Technology for the same company in Santa Clara, California. Prabakar worked at Exodus Communications until 2001. From 2001 to 2005, they served as the CTO at NetScaler Inc. In 2005, they joined Citrix Systems Inc as the CTO of the Application Networking Group, and remained in that role until 2008. Prabakar then worked at Ankeena Networks from 2008 to 2010 as the CTO and Chief Strategist. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Chief Strategy Officer, CMBU at Juniper Networks. Finally, in 2012, they founded The Fabric, where they currently hold the position of Founder and Chief Strategist.

Prabakar Sundarrajan has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Prabakar began their academic journey at Voorhees College in Vellore from 1975 to 1978, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Physics and minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. Subsequently, from 1978 to 1981, Prabakar attended the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), specializing in Electronics and Communications and obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering degree. Prabakar continued their educational pursuits at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1981 to 1983, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
