CEO and Co-Founder at The Fabric

Rajan Raghavan has extensive experience in the technology and startup industry. In 2012, they co-founded The Fabric, a company that co-creates, funds, and launches companies in the cloud and IoT/Infrastructure space. Rajan played a key role as the CEO and Co-Founder, collaborating with entrepreneurs to grow their concepts into successful companies. During their tenure, The Fabric co-created 10 companies, with three of them being acquired by major players in the industry.

In addition to their role at The Fabric, Raghavan has served on the boards of various technology companies. Since 2015, they have been a member of the Board of Directors for IoTium, a company that provides secure network infrastructure for the Internet of Things (IoT). Rajan also served on the boards of TrueLark (formerly Frontdesk.ai), Mesh7, Spanugo, and Kmesh.io, contributing their expertise and insights to guide these companies in their strategic decision-making.

Raghavan's involvement in the technology industry extends beyond startups. Rajan has also served on the Board of Directors for VeloCloud, a pioneer in Cloud-Delivered WAN, from 2012 to 2017. VeloCloud simplifies the WAN by delivering virtualized services from the cloud to branch offices and mobile users. During their tenure, Raghavan played an important role in providing enterprise-grade performance, visibility, and control to clients.

More recently, Raghavan joined OpsCruise in 2018 as a member of the Board of Directors. OpsCruise focuses on providing AI-driven monitoring and analysis solutions for modern cloud-native applications. Additionally, they joined the Board of Trustees for Clarkson University in 2018.

Rajan Raghavan completed their high school education at RSK Higher Secondary School from 1965 to 1973. Rajan then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, from 1973 to 1978. Following this, they obtained an MBA degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting from Syracuse University, attending from 1978 to 1980. Finally, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson University from 1981 to 1982.
