Leonardo Ruiz-Sanchez has over 25 years of experience in the food manufacturing industry. Leonardo currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing Supply Chain at The Farmer's Dog. Prior to this, they were the Director of Contract Manufacturing for Frozen Foods and Snacks at ConAgra Foods. Leonardo has also served as a Plant Manager for sugar confections manufacturing at Nestle S.A., dry pet food and dog treats at Nestlé Purina North America, and pork processing at Odom's Tennessee Pride Sausage, Inc. In addition, Ruiz-Sanchez has experience in turkey and poultry processing, having served as an Operations Manager for Jerome-Mezoro SA de CV and Lancer Group.

Leonardo Ruiz-Sanchez has an EMBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Leonardo Ruiz-Sanchez reports to David Zhang, COO. They work with Sana Raheem - Head of Operations, Blair Taylor - SVP, Operations, and John Rozanski - Head of Supply Chain.
