David Gerken

Chief Lending Officer at F&M Bank

David Gerken has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David started their career as an intern at Fulton County Eco Dev. in 1992 and then worked as an intern at Toledo Edison in 1993. Following this, they joined National City Bank in 1994 as a Vice President and remained in this role until 2004. In 2004, they transitioned to Fifth Third Bank where they served as a Vice President for 12 years, until 2016. Finally, they joined Farmers & Merchants State Bank in Archbold, OH in 2016, where they currently work in the role of Commercial Banking.

David Gerken attended Defiance College from 1990 to 1994, but they did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. In 1995 and 1996, they attended Baldwin Wallace University where they participated in the BankSim program. In 2017, they completed the Midwest Agricultural Banking School at Purdue University and earned a degree in that field.
