Arlene Coates

Arlene Coates is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Farrow since September 2019, Arlene oversees operations for the largest privately held Customs Brokerage and Logistics firm in Canada. Prior roles include Vice President of Corporate Services and Risk Management and Vice President of Corporate Technology Solutions at PointClickCare, a leader in web-based Electronic Health Records software. Arlene has also held positions such as Director of Information Technology Services for the Region of Waterloo, Instructor in Project Management at Conestoga College, and Manager of IT Operations at Georgian College. Early career experience includes significant roles at IBM Canada and Deloitte, focusing on project and resource management as well as security assurance. Arlene holds a Master's degree in Municipal Leadership from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
