Barbara Biel

Barbara Biel is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk analysis and management. Currently serving as a Senior Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since January 2014, Biel specializes in wholesale credit risk analysis. Prior roles include Managing Director at the Royal Bank of Scotland, overseeing financial institutions credit risk, and Senior Management Consultant at the Robin Hood Foundation, focused on combating poverty in New York City. Biel's career also encompasses senior positions at Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse, Banque Indosuez, Goldman Sachs, and Ernst & Whinney. Academically, Biel holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Wellesley College.
