Marco Cipriani is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in research and statistical analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Money and Payments Studies at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since September 2011, Marco has held various roles including Assistant Vice President, Research Officer, and Senior Economist. Previously, Marco was a Senior Economist at the International Monetary Fund from 2008 to March 2012 and an Associate Professor at George Washington University from August 2002 to December 2010. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Economics from New York University, a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from The London School of Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Università Bocconi.
