Sepideh Karimi

Sepideh Karimi is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and IT examination, currently serving as a Cyber and IT Supervising Examiner for Large Financial Institutions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. With a robust track record of leading investigations on cybersecurity risk and resiliency across systemically complex banks, Karimi has expertise in areas such as Vulnerability Management, Secure Software Development, and Cyber Risk Appetite. Previous roles include significant contributions to cybersecurity policy analysis and IT strategy development during internships at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, as well as various internships in information security and data analysis across notable organizations. Karimi holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Politics with a Computer Science minor from Centre College, supplemented by international studies at the University of Amsterdam.
