Tabitha Sugumar

Tabitha Sugumar is a data scientist currently working at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since May 2023. Previously, Tabitha served as a data scientist at Meta from November 2021 to March 2023, contributing to social impact projects by implementing data pipelines and leveraging machine learning. Prior experience includes roles at Elsevier and the United Nations, where Tabitha conducted data-driven assessments on underdeveloped regions in Kenya. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from UCLA, along with studies at Sciences Po and Thammasat University. Early experience includes internships with the U.S. Department of State and contributions to editorial work focused on sustainable economic practices.
