Vanesa Sanchez has extensive experience in stress testing and capital policy, currently serving as the Stress Testing Synthesis Function Lead at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since June 2016. In this role, Vanesa oversees projects related to stress test execution and methodology development, managing cross-portfolio teams and collaborating with policy and production areas. Previous positions include Quantitative Policy Manager, Senior Policy Associate, and Supervisory Policy Associate at the Federal Reserve, where Vanesa led teams producing supervisory capital and loss aggregation results for major banks. Prior experience includes a Deployment Strategist role at Palantir Technologies, and a senior analyst position at The Economist Intelligence Unit, focusing on macroeconomic and political research. Vanesa holds a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from Princeton University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics and Management from the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School.
