Michael MacDonald has been the Chief Information Officer at The Federal Savings Bank since 2016. He has over 30 years of experience in the Information Technology field. He is a collaborative partner who strives to achieve IT solutions that align with the strategic priorities of The Federal Savings Bank.
He is a careful decision-maker who excels at identifying departmental priorities based on the Bank’s strategy to maximize the contribution of his department. He appreciates the deep skills and insights his team brings to the table, and he believes that listening, following up, and eliminating roadblocks are critical skills an IT leader must have to empower a talented group of professionals.
Michael holds a BA in mathematics and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He worked for multiple clients in the financial services IT consulting practice at Accenture for ten years and has managed Bank IT departments since 2003, developing broad experience in IT project management, governance, and application development and infrastructure.
Michael lives in the Chicagoland area with his wife and three kids. In his spare time, you can find him running, playing tennis, or woodworking.
