Rachel Apirian has a diverse work experience in the marketing, public relations, and social media fields. Rachel began their career as a Sales and Public Relations Intern at Nicole Miller in 2005. Rachel then went on to work as a Public Relations Intern at Bloomingdale's in 2006, followed by a Public Relations Internship at THINK PR later that year. In 2007, they worked as a Public Relations Intern at Louis Vuitton and also served as a Fashion Stylist at Joseph Delate Fashion/Celebrity Stylist, where they developed style and design ideas for client photo shoots and events.
From 2009 to 2012, Rachel was the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at The Natori Company, overseeing all marketing and PR activities for Natori brands and launching social media initiatives. Rachel then joined The Donna Karan Company, LLC. as the Senior Manager Global Marketing & Advertising, responsible for marketing support, strategy, and event planning.
In 2015, Rachel became the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Sanctuary Clothing before transitioning to work as a Marketing and Social Media Consultant in 2016. In this role, they specialized in developing and implementing marketing objectives and strategies with a clear brand vision and positioning.
Currently, Rachel is the Head of Social Media + Content Marketing at The Female Quotient, where they lead social media and content marketing efforts.
Rachel Apirian attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Advertising Communications.
