Joe Zinger

Joe Zinger has extensive work experience in the information technology field. Joe currently holds the position of Chief Information Technology Officer at The Fidelity Bank, where they are responsible for establishing and directing strategic goals and policies for the Information Technology department. Prior to this, Joe worked at Truist as the SVP Advanced Research and Emerging Technology, focusing on maximizing efficiency of business and technology frameworks. Joe also held various roles at BB&T, including VP IT Strategy Manager and VP IT Strategy & Business Alignment, where they managed IT strategies and provided technology consulting. Additionally, Joe worked at Duke Energy Corporation as the Manager - Enterprise Services, and at Progress Energy as a Manager in various capacities, leading teams and enhancing customer relationships in web development and grid management.

Joe Zinger obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, which they attended from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their degree, Joe also has several certifications. Joe obtained the HBS Disruptive Strategy certification from Harvard Business School in January 2021. In January 2019, they completed the Leadership Excellence Program at The BB&T Leadership Institute. Joe also holds a TOGAF 9 certification obtained from The Open Group in January 2014. Finally, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in November 2003.
