Lauren began their career at PwC as a Tax Associate in 2004 and gained valuable tax expertise until 2005. Following that, they joined Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP as a Senior Audit Associate and honed their skills in auditing from 2005 to 2007. Since 2007, Lauren has been working at The Fidelity Bank, where they started as the Chief Accounting Officer and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. Lauren obtained their Bachelor's degree in accounting from North Carolina State University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Building upon their undergraduate education, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in accounting and finance at the same institution, completing their studies in 2004. These educational achievements serve as the foundation for their expertise and qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
