The Finance Innovation Lab
Jesse Griffiths is an accomplished leader in the field of development finance and policy, currently serving as CEO of The Finance Innovation Lab since April 2020. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Programme, Development Strategy and Finance at the Overseas Development Institute from September 2018 to April 2020, where Jesse guided strategic initiatives in development finance. As Director at Eurodad from April 2012 to August 2018, Jesse advocated for transformative changes in financial and economic systems to promote human rights and sustainability. Jesse also directed the Bretton Woods Project from September 2008 to April 2012, focusing on the scrutiny of World Bank and IMF policies. Additional roles include positions at ActionAid and the RSPB, along with earlier experience at the Department for International Development (DFID) and the Commission for Integrated Transport. Jesse holds an MSc in Finance (Economic Policy) from SOAS University of London, an MScECON in International Politics from Aberystwyth University, and a BA (Hons) in Politics & Parliamentary Studies from the University of Leeds.
