Carmen Sekulic has a diverse background in various roles, starting as an Operations Assistant at EVRY Norge in 2006. Carmen later worked as an Accountant's Assistant at Envac in 2011. Carmen then took on roles at The Norwegian Registration Authority for Health Personnel (SAK) as an Executive Officer/Caseworker in 2013 and 2014. Carmen worked at Wikborg, Rein & Co. as a Receptionist and Administrative Assistant from 2012 to 2015. Carmen also had an internship at Global Counsel in early 2016 before becoming a Research Intern for Rachel Reeves MP at the House of Commons later that year. Carmen then worked as a Political Advisor to Rachel Reeves MP at The Labour Party from 2017 to mid-2018. Currently, they are at the Financial Conduct Authority, where they held various roles, including Policy Advisor, Press Officer (secondment), and Manager roles related to the executive director and chief operating officer, starting in 2018.
Carmen Sekulic completed their high school education in General Studies at Oslo Handelsgymnasium (Oslo Commerce School) from 2008 to 2011. Carmen then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Law, specializing in LLB Law, at Queen Mary University of London from 2011 to 2014. Carmen went on to earn a Master's Degree in Law and Economics, focusing on LLM Law and Economics, at Queen Mary University of London from 2014 to 2015. Carmen furthered their education with a Master's Degree in Political Economy of Europe, MSc Political Economy of Europe, at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2015 to 2016.
