David Farmer

David Farmer is an experienced economist currently serving as a Lead Associate Economist at the Financial Conduct Authority since September 2019. Previously, David held various positions at the Financial Conduct Authority, including Senior Associate Economist and Associate Economist. David also worked as an Associate Economist at the Payment Systems Regulator from October 2020 to April 2021. Prior to these roles, David was a Project Implementation Lead and Goods In Manager at Ashley Chase Estate Ltd. David's academic background includes a Master's degree in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Master of Arts in Political Theory from the University of Exeter, along with a degree from Cardiff University.
