Eric Morrison

Eric Morrison is a seasoned professional in competition law and economics, currently serving as a Visiting Fellow at King's College London since September 2017, focusing on the economics of competition law. Since June 2016, Eric has held dual roles at the Financial Conduct Authority as a Technical Specialist and Manager in the Competition and Economics Division, where leadership of the competition economics team is a key responsibility. Previous experience includes positions at PwC as an Assistant Director, where advisory work involved competition issues, and a Principal role at Ofcom, specializing in competition policy and economic regulation. Eric's foundational career in competition economics includes serving as the Head of the Economics Mergers Division at the Office of Fair Trading. Academic credentials include an MA (Hons) in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, an MPhil in Economics with a focus on scenario forecasting from the University of Leeds, and an MSc (Econ) in Economics and Econometrics from Southampton University.
