Director Of Strategy (interim) at Financial Conduct Authority

Kate Collyer is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in a variety of prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy (Interim) and Chief Economist at the Financial Conduct Authority since October 2019, Kate Collyer also holds the position of Chair of the Committee on Emerging Risks at the International Organization of Securities Commissions since October 2020, along with a council membership at the Royal Economic Society since June 2021. Prior to these roles, Kate Collyer was the Chief Economic Advisor for Energy and Markets at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from March 2018 to October 2019 and held multiple senior economic roles at the Competition and Markets Authority and its predecessors from 2008 to 2018.
