Mark Bethell

Mark Bethell is an experienced legal and competition management professional with a robust background in regulatory and legal advisory roles. Currently serving as Competition Manager at the Financial Conduct Authority since June 2014, Mark has a history of significant contributions in various organizations including the Competition Commission (UK) as Inquiry Director, where investigations into merger and market dynamics were led. Previous roles include Senior Legal Advisor at Defra, where legislative drafting and animal health regulations were a focus, and as an Agent in EU Litigation at the Treasury Solicitor's Department.
