Paul Adams

Paul Adams is an experienced professional in the fields of risk, compliance, and law, currently serving as Interim Manager of Risk & Compliance Oversight at the Financial Conduct Authority since April 2023. Prior roles include Lead Associate at CMS UK, where Paul worked as a Senior Associate (Barrister) from June 2022 to April 2023, and previously at the Financial Conduct Authority from November 2018 to June 2022, encompassing both Acting Advanced Associate and Associate positions in Wholesale and Retail Investigations. Additionally, Paul was a Barrister at Blackfriars Chambers from October 2015 to June 2022, including time as a Pupil Barrister. Paul Adams completed the Bar Professional Training Course at City, University of London and holds a degree in Management with German from Queen's University Belfast.
