Irene H. is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the energy sector and governance. Currently serving as the Director of Legal Services at the Financial Reporting Council since June 2021, Irene previously held key positions including Director of Legal and Governance at the National Lottery Heritage Fund and General Counsel and Company Secretary at Origami Energy. Irene's career includes significant roles such as Legal Counsel at Interconnector and Partner at DLA Piper, where leadership in the UK regulated energy sector practice was provided. Irene also served as Head of Legal and Governance at Ofgem, contributing to corporate affairs and regulatory compliance, and began their legal career as a Solicitor at Dentons.
