Shazia Ahmad

Shazia Ahmad is an experienced Senior Project Manager at the Financial Reporting Council, where responsibilities include participation in international working groups and providing advisory support to BEIS, HMT, and FCO on Brexit-related issues. Prior to this role, Shazia served as a Financial Analyst at the Competition Commission (UK), focusing on the financial implications of mergers and anti-competitive practices. Shazia also held the position of Corporate Tax Manager at KPMG, specializing in Private Equity within the Transaction Services Team, and began their career as an Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand, working in the Manufacturing, Retail, and Distribution sectors. Shazia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
