Maureen E. Hanley

Maureen E. Hanley is the current SVP & Senior Commercial Lending Officer at The First Bank of Greenwich. Maureen has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, having served in various leadership positions at TD Bank Group, Fairfield County Bank, and Commerce Bank.

Hanley began their career in 1994 as Vice President, Team Leader, Head of Commercial Real Estate at Fairfield County Bank. In this role, they were responsible for commercial lending and real estate lending, as well as establishing and managing the bank's indirect lending department for dealer services. In 2006, Hanley was recruited by Commerce Bank to serve as their Regional Real Estate Team Leader. In this role, they oversaw the bank's 17 retail store network and cash management operations in Fairfield County.

In 2009, Hanley joined TD Bank Group as Senior Vice President, RVP Fairfield County. In this role, they managed the Lower Middle Market tier of commercial lending and small business operations for TD Bank in Fairfield County. Maureen also established the bank's residential construction to permanent guidelines and management processes. Hanley served in this role until 2014, when they left to join United Bank as Senior Vice President, Team Leader.

At United Bank, Hanley established and managed the Commercial Lending and Regional Real Estate Team for Fairfield County. Maureen served in this role until 2018, when they joined The First Bank of Greenwich as SVP & Senior Commercial Lending Officer. Hanley currently serves on the board of directors for the Business Council of Fairfield County and is a member of the Connecticut Economic Development Association.

Maureen E. Hanley graduated with a BA in Political Science from the University of Connecticut. Maureen then went on to pursue a career in Pre-Law Studies.
