Mike Fowler

Mike Fowler has held a variety of roles throughout their career. Mike is currently the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for FNB Wealth Management at The First National Bank in Sioux Falls. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive Director of Marketing & Corporate Strategy and the Director of Marketing & Business Development at VIKOR from 2017 to 2022. Before that, they were an Innovation Designer at the Good Samaritan Society from 2013 to 2017. In addition, Mike has experience in marketing and consumer insights at Sanford Health where they worked as a Marketing/Consumer Insights Manager and Analyst from 2008 to 2013. Mike started their career at Backcountry.com as a Corporate Intern and later took on the role of Search Engine Optimization.

Mike Fowler completed their education with a Master's degree in Communication, Research & Theory from North Dakota State University in 2008. Prior to that, they earned another Master's degree in Organizational Communication, General from West Virginia University in 2007. Mike obtained their Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication/Marketing from Brigham Young University - Idaho in the period 2000-2004. In addition to their formal education, Mike has obtained certifications in Innovation Design from the IIT Institute of Design in July 2014, Leadership Sioux Falls from the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce in May 2014, and Customer-Focused Innovation (d.school) from Stanford University in November 2011.
