Damon Ford has worked in the tech industry since 2001. Damon began their career as an Analyst 2 at the Baltimore Gas & Electric Company in 2001. In 2007 they moved to Intergraph as a Software Scientist. In 2014, they became a Senior .NET Developer at AGENCY HOLDING COMPANY. In 2018, they joined Softrams as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they developed an enterprise web site using NodeJS, Angular 8, Classic ASP, ASP. NET, Javascript, C#, Typescript, Oracle, and SQL. In 2021, they joined The Five Network as Lead Engineer, where they are responsible for leading a team of developers, business analysts, and QA, holding daily stand-up meetings, and managing all scrum admin responsibilities. Damon also mentors other developers, teaching them efficient, clean and proven development techniques.

Damon Ford attended Coppin State University from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Damon also attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County, but did not receive a degree. In March 2020, they obtained a Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
