Albert Popalis

Albert Popalis is an experienced exhibit design manager currently working at The Florida Aquarium since April 2022. Previously, Popalis served as art director at Clearwater Marine Aquarium from February 2020 to April 2022, where responsibilities included directing the design and installation of exhibits and marketing collateral while evolving brand standards. Prior to this role, Popalis was the creative director at Gathering Place from June 2017 to February 2020, overseeing branding and creative development for public park initiatives. Experience also includes a tenure as creative services manager at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo from June 2005 to June 2017, along with various design roles at the zoo. Popalis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Arts & Sciences from the University of Florida, earned in 2003.
