Douglas Pace

Douglas Pace has extensive experience in marine operations and technical project management, currently serving as Senior Captain and Fleet Manager for The Florida Aquarium since March 2014. Previous roles include a boat tender at Gator Dredging, co-owner of Pace Construction Services Inc., and CO Tech Project Manager at WiseConnect Inc., where Douglas coordinated teams to meet government compliance. Additional experience includes leading oil spill recovery efforts at Global Remediation Services Inc. and providing eco-tour boat services at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. Douglas began a career in telecommunications at Verizon as a Fiber Network Field Technician, enhancing skills in installation and repair of fiber and copper services. Douglas holds a diploma from Gaither High School and furthered education at Tampa Tech.
