Nia Thomas

Nia Thomas is a Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator at The Florida Aquarium since August 2022, with prior experience as a Human Resources Associate at Bridging Tech from February 2022 to August 2022. Nia served as a Student/OPS Student Assistant at the College Reach Out University of South Florida from September 2017 to August 2021, where responsibilities included assisting the program Director and developing lesson plans for middle school students. Additional roles include Research Assistant at the University of South Florida's Cardiovascular Psychophysiology Lab from September 2019 to May 2020, Student Mentor for the Intercultural Student Leadership Conference from November 2018 to February 2019, and Summer Residential Counselor at Upward Bound University of South Florida in June 2018. Nia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida, earned in May 2021.
