Barbara Galindo has extensive experience in the field of elder care and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Florida Assisted Living Association since November 2018, Barbara has also held the position of Administrator at Residential Plaza at Blue Lagoon since December 2003. Prior to these roles, Barbara worked as a Service Coordinator at Actell Elderly Care Inc from September 2002 to November 2003. Academically, Barbara holds a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University, an M.B.A. in Accounting from Everest University, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Metropolitan University.

The Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) is a strong, unified, professional organization representing the owners and operators of assisted living communities.
