Bruce Vail has extensive experience in law enforcement and academia, currently serving as a Faculty Instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Central Florida, with a transition to full-time status in Spring 2024. Additionally, Bruce Vail holds the position of Adjunct Faculty Instructor at The Florida Hotel and Conference Center since May 2023. With a strong background in public safety, Bruce Vail has been a Police Sergeant and Reserve Deputy Sheriff at the Orange County Sheriff's Office in Orlando, Florida, since January 1992. Bruce Vail obtained a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Central Florida between 1994 and 1996.
