Allen Brown

Allen Brown is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health policy and government affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Staff Director for the Committee on Health Policy at The Florida Senate since October 2010, Brown oversees legislative research and development in areas such as Medicaid and medical marijuana. Brown's previous roles include Senior Policy Advisor for Health Care, Chief Legislative Analyst in the Committee on Appropriations, and Senior Manager of Government Affairs at Comprehensive Health Management, where there was a focus on low-income health care issues. Additional experience includes positions as a Senior Government Consultant at Carlton Fields, Director of Government Affairs at the Florida Chamber of Commerce, and Legislative & Communication Specialist at the Florida Supreme Court. Allen Brown holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communication from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from Spring Hill College.
