Founder at The Force

Marcelo Pena Cost is the founder of The Force, a creative agency based in NYC. Prior to starting their own company, Marcelo worked as a creative director at McCann Worldgroup, Party New York, Y&R, Heat, and various other agencies. Marcelo has also served as a creative consultant for start-ups such as US Post Office, Amtrak, Optimum (broadband), Johnson & Johnson, John Hancock and Viceland (Vice Media). In 2012, Marcelo founded SEÑORES, an award-winning agency that delivered more than US$ 8 million in free media for Bamberg Brewery with a campaign awarded Silver at Ad Age’s Small Agency Awards. Marcelo is also the creator of Bora Bike (formerly Bike da Firma), a reward program for cyclists that officially represented Brazil in SXSW’16.

Marcelo Pena Cost has a wide range of educational experience, from executive education programs to filmmaking and advertising courses. Marcelo has studied at some of the top schools in the world, including Harvard University, New York University, and the University of California, Los Angeles. Marcelo has also completed a number of workshops and programs, such as the Y Combinator Startup School and the D&AD Advertising Workshop - Winning portfolio.
