Bill Burkoth

Bill Burkoth is an experienced professional in the life sciences and venture capital sectors, currently serving as the Managing Partner for Life Sciences at The Forest Road Company since November 2023. Burkoth also holds a position as a Board Member at Fellow since July 2025. Previously, Burkoth was the Managing Partner for the Life Science & Healthcare investment team at SVB Capital from February 2021 to October 2023, and played a crucial role as a founding member and Senior Partner at Pfizer Ventures, where Burkoth was instrumental in sourcing and leading numerous investments in life science companies over a 17-year tenure. Additional roles include directorships at 4D Molecular Therapeutics, Second Genome Inc., and Strata Oncology. Burkoth holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Chemistry from Whitman College.
