Dieu Huang has a diverse work experience, starting in 2000 with The Fortune Society as an Sr. Coordinator, where they supervised operations and managed performance-based contracts. They then worked as the owner of Neotech Digital Communications NY, LLC before transitioning to the Women's Prison Association in 2010 as a Transitional Planner. In this role, they assessed female prisoners and provided case management services. In 2011, Dieu joined The Door - A Center of Alternatives as a Career Advancement Coach, working with out-of-school youths and overseeing data and documentation needs. Dieu returned to The Fortune Society in 2013 and held various roles, including Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst, where they managed agency data and performed data analysis. Currently, Dieu is the Senior Director of Program Support, where they provide executive and senior level program support across different program areas.
Dieu Huang is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Columbia University, specializing in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice. This program began in 2020 and is expected to be completed in 2023.
Prior to this, Dieu Huang completed a Bachelor of Science in Community and Human Services at SUNY Empire State College. The program took place from 2019 to 2020.
Dieu Huang also holds an AOS (Associate of Occupational Studies) degree in Computer Network Operations from the Katharine Gibbs School, which was obtained between 2000 and 2001.
In addition to formal degrees, Dieu Huang has obtained several certifications. These include the completion of a research certification with minors, a human subjects protection certification, and certificates of completion for crisis communication and managing misconduct in the workplace, all obtained in 2021. Dieu Huang also holds certifications in Advanced Excel and SQL Fundamentals, completed in 2015.
