Mariam Ispahani

Mariam Ispahani is a seasoned entrepreneur and leader in the sustainability sector, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of Sonali Bioplastics since August 2019, focusing on developing plant-based alternatives to address plastic pollution. Mariam Ispahani is a member of the Greentech Alliance, contributing to green technology initiatives, and holds the position of UBS Fellow at The Fourth Floor, which promotes women in board roles. Additional roles include serving as a Marketing Liaison for Women in Cleantech and Sustainability, a member of the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center's Milestones Program, and a Judge and Mentor for Cleantech Open. Mariam Ispahani also founded Saaze Corporation, providing renewable energy solutions globally, and co-founded Arya Solar, specializing in solar systems across Asia and Africa. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota, a Bachelor's degree from Macalester College, and various certificates from San Jose State University.
