Abib Duut is a Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since October 2022, concurrently serving as a Principal Research Assistant at the University of Ghana since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles as a Data Engineer in remote work from October 2020 to December 2021, a Machine Learning Engineer at Pi Campus for two months in 2019, and a Scientific co-worker at Forschungszentrum Jülich from September 2017 to September 2018. Duut began the professional journey as a Data Analyst at the Ghana Meteorological Agency and has also worked in various capacities, including as a Data Assistant and Mathematics Instructor. Duut's educational background comprises a Master's degree in Data Engineering from Queen Mary University of London, a Master's in Mathematical Science from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences Ghana, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Ghana, complemented by a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Pi School.
