Killu Asu

Killu Asu is a Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute since July 2022, with prior experience as a Laboratory Technician at Prenetics, where clinical testing for COVID-19 was performed. Killu co-founded Tryptic Solutions, focusing on a yeast-based expression platform for GMP-grade psilocybin production and earned a recipient of the Imperial Enterprise Lab's Discovery Fund. A former Graduate Teaching Assistant at Imperial College London, Killu also contributed to scientific literature as an Honorary Member of in2biochem. Killu's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with Research Abroad from Imperial College London and a High School Diploma from Tallinna Reaalkool.
