Alicia Alonso de la Vega is a postdoctoral researcher at The Francis Crick Institute since April 2023, previously serving as a PhD student in Prof. Rocio Sotillo's lab at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center from May 2018 to November 2022. Alicia also completed a master thesis at CNIO - Spanish National Cancer Research Centre in 2016 at Marcos Malumbres' lab, focusing on the identification of new mitotic biomarkers in oncologic therapy. Additionally, Alicia conducted a bachelor thesis at GENyO, studying the inactivation of the SWI/SNF complex and its implications in microRNA expression. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Universidad de Alcalá.
