Khadidja Habel

Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute

Khadidja Habel is a Laboratory Research Scientist at The Francis Crick Institute, focusing on haematopoietic stem cell research since November 2023. Previously, Khadidja served as a Research Assistant at Barts Cancer Institute, contributing to the understanding of post-transcriptional RNA binding protein roles in leukaemia and lymphoma from June 2022 to November 2023, while also completing a Master's project on bioengineered microfluidic organ-on-a-chip tumor models. Khadidja has experience from St George's, University of London, working on autologous therapy for Mitochondrial neurogastrointestinal encephalomyopathy and conducting research on retinoic acid signaling during cardiovascular development at UCL. Beginning research in 2018 at St George's, Khadidja has built a strong academic foundation with a MSc in Cancer and Therapeutics and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science.
