Oliver May

Oliver May is an experienced legal and governance professional currently serving as the Director of Legal, Governance, Risk & Compliance at The Fred Hollows Foundation since September 2024, while also holding the position of Principal at Koala International Development since May 2024. Previously, Oliver May was a Partner at Deloitte from August 2016 to May 2024, where responsibilities included supporting clients in risk management with a focus on government and non-profit sectors, and establishing Deloitte Australia's international development practice. Prior roles include Independent Consultant for Second Marshmallow, Head of Counter-Fraud at Oxfam GB, and various positions within the UK Public Sector, including criminal intelligence analysis and operational roles in serious organized crime. Oliver May holds a BA (Hons) in Religions and Theology from The University of Manchester, awarded in 2003.
