Jorge Aguirre has a diverse and extensive work experience in the animation and writing industry. Jorge has worked as a Head Writer for "Alma's Way" at Fred Rogers Productions and as a Story Editor for "Blues Clues and You" at 9 Story Media Group. Jorge has also worked as a Writer for "Call Me Iggy" Graphic Novel at First Second and for "Santiago of the Seas" at Nickelodeon. In addition, they have had roles as a Writer for "Marisol McDonald" Pilot at Amazon Studios and as a Co-Executive Story Editor for "Nina's World" at Sprout (NBC Universal). Jorge Aguirre has also worked with Disney Channel as a Co-Creator, Co-EP, and Writer for "Goldie & Bear". Jorge has published a graphic novel called "Dragons, Beware! Chronicles of Claudette" and has worked as a Staff and Freelance Writer for "Dora the Explorer" and "Go, Diego, Go!" at Nickelodeon Animation Studios.
Jorge Aguirre began their education journey in 1987 at The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography and Cinema. Their studies lasted until 1991, during which they acquired knowledge and skills in these fields. Later, Jorge enrolled at Georgetown University Law Center in 1993 to pursue a law degree. However, they discontinued their studies after completing the first year, as they realized that a career in law did not align with their aspirations. Jorge mentioned that they would have been an unhappy lawyer.
