Gail Choochan

Gail Choochan is an experienced editor and designer with a career spanning over two decades in journalism. Since August 2007, Gail has served as the Weekender Editor and Designer at The Free Lance-Star, where responsibilities include generating and assigning story ideas related to arts, music, and family entertainment, as well as managing a team of writers and freelancers. Prior to this role, Gail was the Features Editor at Potomac News & Manassas Journal Messenger from July 1998 to August 2007, focusing on developing story ideas and overseeing a team of reporters. Gail's earlier experience includes working as a Features Copy Editor and a Design Intern at The Washington Times. Educationally, Gail holds a BA in journalism from George Mason University and a degree in Travel Writing from Graduate School USA.
