John Bishop

John Bishop, CFE, currently serves as the Group Vice President of Operations at The Fresh Market since December 2017, overseeing various crucial aspects of retail operations including Operations Excellence and Guest Experience. Prior to this role, John held multiple leadership positions at Southeastern Grocers, including Vice President of Total Loss - Operations and Senior Director of Asset Protection. Additional experience includes a tenure at Winn Dixie Stores as Director of Asset Protection and Regional Manager of Loss Prevention, as well as serving as Regional Director of Loss Prevention at Saks Incorporated. John holds a degree from the University of South Alabama, earned between 1988 and 1992.
